3 Years & Counting.. Lifestyle post

So today, me and Sonic celebrated our 3 year anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We spent the day mostly playing Crash Team Racing on the Playstation and then we ordered in a takeaway pizza. That may seem slightly boring and not very 'celebratory' but to us it was perfect. Oh yeah.. and he bought me a Smurf!

Smurfette <3

One main thing i've learnt whilst being in a relationship for this long is that those 'lovey dovey' stereotypes really don't exist most of the time and that isn't what creates that romantic atmosphere. Sure, of course it's absolutely lovely to dress up and go out to nice restaurants, buy each other presents, receive flowers and all the stuff you see in the movies.. But i know that by now if the boyfriend did any of that i'd presume that he'd forgetton something or done something wrong! Because to me that isn't what our relationship is about.
Our relationship is about being there for each other when we need to talk, being a shoulder to cry on, having trust when situations can get complex and knowing that we're the one each other wants to come home to at the end of every day. We make compromises and sacrifices, stand up for each other and ensure that the other one is happy, sure we argue but what kind of couple doesn't?

I don't tend to do lifestyle posts very often but this is something i just wanted to note down and i feel it will be nice to look back on in years to come.
I hope that he is my future and all i know is that if it doesn't work out, that i'll have all these lovely memories and these years will have definitely been worthwhile

#OOTD Sister's Birthday

*Chiffon Biker Jacket - c/o QuirkyME - £28.50
Black Tshirt - Primark - £3
Skinny Jeans - River Island - £10 (sale - not on website)
Wedges - Peacocks - Few seasons back
Bag - Mango - £19.99 (sale)

I've got to start by saying these jeans might just be my favourite pair ever! They're so light and comfy and the pattern just makes you feel good. The wedges are the comfiest shoes i have ever owned and are definitely a statement red and just seem to make any outfit come to life. The bag is one of my favourite buys this year and it's massive inside so can fit Everything in! All in all i loved this outfit and it was perfect for going for a meal as it was just dressy enough to look good but also perfect for the massive downpour of rain we faced on the way back!
Is it goodbye to our British summer?

#OOTD Polka Dot Pop

Dress - Select - Last Season £12
Converse - Asos - £26
Bag - Mango - £20 sale
Sleeveless Jacket - Ark - £12.50 sale

This dress was perhaps the best summer dress i have ever bought! It's light and floaty, but not wide enough at the bottom to blow up when the wind comes!
I'm really loving the vintage look teaming denim with polka dots at the minute and this sleeveless jacket from Ark is just amazing to throw over any outfit. It looks amazing on and is so light and comfy, perfect for the hot weather

Derma V10 Tinted Eye Roll On

I'd been hearing a lot about these type of products but never really felt the need to invest in them, but when i recieved this in my goodie bag at the Fabb Bloggers Manc a couple of weeks ago i was really intrigued!
I do tend to get dark circles under my eyes sometimes, usually due to stress and lack-of-sleep but i'd never really noticed how bad they looked before as i just used my usual foundation and concealer. But now i think this is a product i can't live without!

Before using..
On my face..
After use

I think it makes a visible difference and definitely gets rid of any unwanted purpley-coloured dark circles. After laying this up with my usual foundation and matte they are not visible at all! It is super-easy to apply, simply remove the cap, gently roll the ball across the underneath of your eyes and gently massage in with your fingertips. I am really impressed with this product and it has become one of my make-up favourites and essentials! I'd recommend this for anyone that ever suffers  with tired eyes or dark circles. It is suitable for all skin types and is fragrance and paraben free.

The best bit?
DermaV10 tinted eye roll on can be bought in Poundland!
Derma V10 have so many other products that i am yet to try out but if this product is anythignt o go by, i will definitely be investing in others

Barry M Lip Paint - 155

I wore this outfit yesterday to my boyfriend's nephew's 14th Birthday BBQ. It was a bit of a mixed-weather day so i wanted something cool but a bit more covered-up just in case of rain. I love this tshirt so much! It's very obviously a zombie rip-off of the Subway slogan and it's so comfy and airy but still fitted, i got a size Small and it comes up a little loose which is perfect for this hot/muggy weather.
I'm really loving my Barry M Lip Paint at the minute it's a gorgeous print that's not too bright and perfect for the daytime and it stays put for atleast 3-4 hours. I definitely recommend it!

July Glossybox

I have only ever had one Glossybox before and wasn't sure that it was the right subscription box for me.. but as soon as i got the email about the July box i just had to have it! The spoiler was too tempting aswell as the fact there are a limited number available and i really needed some summer beauty bits..

How gorgeous is the box?
So this box was named 'Seaside Splash' and all the wrapping had an underwater sea theme!
It's such a nice touch and so different to other subscription boxes. I'll definitely be finding another use for it

So.. what was in my box?

Inecto Pure Coconut Refreshing Dry Shampoo 150ml RRP £2.49
I absolutely Love dry shampoo and don't think i could live without it, especially in this hot weather! It just really spruces up your hair and makes it look a bit more alive! I've only ever tried Batiste before so am looking forward to trying this out and seeing how it compares

Alterna Haircare Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousled Testure Mist 25ml sample
(RRP full size 125ml £23.00)
I've always wanted a hair product that makes my hair look more of a beach-style for the summer but i simply can't afford Bumble & Bumble products right now so this will be a brilliant test to see if this works for my hair

Coola Organic Mineral Face SPF 20 Rose Essence Tint 7ml sample
(RRP full Size 50ml £29.99)
I am really intrigued with this product and glad i've received this whilst it's scorching hot outside (or that's how it feels anyway!). I am almost deifnite that i won't be buying a full size one of these as it is just too expensive for me but the chance to try it out is amazing and i hope it protects my face for atleast a little while

Ciate London Paint Pot in PP064 'the glossip' RRP £9.00
I am a big fan of Ciate nail polishes so was estatic to see a full sized one in my box and another one to add to my collection! It's a gorgeous reddish-pink colour too, perfect for summer! I truthfully don't actually own that many nail polishes so am trying to build up a collection of more colours

Anatomicals Spray Misty For Me Facial Spritz RRP £6.00
I have heard of the Anatomicals brands before and am so excited to get to try it! I've heard a lot of talk about facial mists lately and they're especially brilliant in this heat as i do a lot of walking! So i'm really looking forward to using this to cool me down and refresh myself during the day, it's also the perfect size for my handbag! Bonus!

So in total the products i recieved came to the value of around £29 so that's brilliant considering it only cost £10 plus P&P!
What do you think of the July Glossybox?
I'd try and grab one while you can!

I still can't believe the weather has is as hot as it's been.. no need for a summer holiday this year!
I took this opportunity to wear this gorgeous batwing tie-dye top from a local boutique. It is so light and airy and really keeps you cool, a perfect cover-up for when it gets later on in the day too. Obviously i went for my trusty converse again (i think they will be featured a lot! Sorry!)

So yesterday was my dad's birthday and the first day i recall it not raining in years! So we agreed to meet up in town for lunch and so i could give him his present and card. Ark Clothing: Wishlist

Ark Clothing is a brand i discovered whilst reading Victoria's blog - InTheFrow
They stock a mix of branded fashion and own-brand clothing for both men & women that appeal to young, edgy shoppers.

They stock brands such as; Superdry, Criminal Damage, Fred Perry and Motel Clothing and their popular own brands: Hearts & Bows for the girls and Cloak for the guys.

I popped into one of their stores for the frist time on Saturday in Manchester and it was amazing! The mix of clothing and the friendly staff make it an amazing and unique place to shop and i recommend it to everyone.. Not to mention their bargain prices!

So this is my current Wishlist:

So these are all my wishlist pieces, i know there are rather a lot of them but i think i may have actually fallen in love with the store!
