Another gorgeous, very humid and sunny day in the Midlands!

I was lucky enough to be a Free Trial winner on the Choies website and was so excited with this playsuit! It's super cute and very light to wear; floaty, floral and fun!

I feel quite vintage and girly in this, i'll be wearing this on summer dates with the boyfriend and maybe to a BBQ or two.. Enjoy the sun while it lasts!

This stunning lime green crop top is from Jones + Jones. As soon as I saw it I just had to have it! It has the most beautiful lace texture and is fitted in a way which makes it flattering around the back and shoulders, but not too tight around the middle. It is a little shorter than I expected but with my Ragged Priest studded shorts I think it looks pretty darn awesome! I thought the fence-net tights added more of a grungy edge and I love them so much!
I'm definitely ready to be rocking out this summer!

A floaty skirt is guaranteed me make you feel a little bit like a princess.. so teamed with a leather-look top half and some creepers it's the perfect balance for a little grunge! These super-cute creepers I got from Depop for a bargain price! It's the perfect selling app so i'd definitely recommend checking it out!

Pokemon & Coffee: Two of my favourite things!

The skirt is actually really flattering and the elastane/legging type material is so soft and comfy and you don't get that tight-fitting feeling you tend to get with a lot of tube-style skirts. I love a good boatneck top to show off my shoulders and this one is no exception! The monochrome 'Starbucks' print looks fab and it's flattering on the arms although it can get warm in this top so I wouldn't suggest wearing a jacket! I teamed the outfit with my cut-out wedges as I thought it gave it a little bit more lift but i'd wear this outfit with any number of shoes: converse, creepers.. you name them!

Perfect for enjoying the sun and watching the world go by..

Monki Summer Wishlist

Monki is one of my favourite online clothing stores for outfit inspiration and for unique pieces that you don't really see anywhere else. The above pieces are ones I would desperately love to have in my wardrobe right now for the spring and summer months!

As you can see all 3 tops are the same style (didn't even notice when I compiled the list!) but I just think the shape of them is really flattering and they can be thrown together with almost everything: great basics for everyday wear.

The Giraffe print on the centre pieces is something I haven't seen before and I was instantly attracted to the gorgeous green contrast against the black. I'm not usually one for co-ords but i think these would look great for a daytime casual look and the trousers can be worked in with so many other things separately too. They'd be perfect with a plain white tee and some slip-ons! Look at me compiling outfits in my head...

The blue top is in one of my favourite shades and the white one goes without saying.. i'm a sucker for slogans! I'm also loving print right now and the shorts have super-cute american fast food cartoon print on them! They're just so adorable! Finally the acid wash shorts need a place in my wardrobe.. they look timeless and the beautiful green shade of these is just too cool to miss!

I haven't long got back from a celebratory meal at a lovely family pub and a sit-down meal with the family. On the Bank Holiday Monday just passed, my older brother got down on one knee and proposed to his beautiful girlfriend ( much to my delight!) and so we all gathered for some yummy food and some family time!

Unfortunately I forgot to photograph my meal as I was too preoccupied with smiling with my 2 year old nephew Ezio and my soon-to-be sister in law's son Layton as they were laughing and playing outside in the sun.

It was a beautiful day to match the occasion, I personally celebrated with pints of Guinness, a shared-starter of Nachos & dips followed by Gammon with a quart of fresh pineapple (my favourite bit!) & criss-cut fries.. all topped off with an oozing chocolate brownie topped with 'Madagascan' vanilla ice cream - it was divine!

My Outfit:

As the sun was shining I decided on my skinny cropped jeans from Peacocks - they are so comfy and light and go with everything! I threw on a simple black vest top and my denim vest for a laid-back casual look. I finished off with my trusty red wedges as they are literally the comfiest shoes I own! The colour is vibrant and perfectly matched my mood and I just thought they smarted up the look a little bit. The thrown together bits actually looked quite good together I thought: so comfort can be fashionable!
