My Top 3 Scents ft. Fragrance Expert

Lacoste - Touch Of Pink
buy it here
Heart Notes: Jasmine, Violet, Carrot Seed Oil
Top Notes: Orange, Cardamon,Coriander
Base Notes: Sandalwood, Musk, Vanilla

This was my very first perfume. It was a present for my 12th birthday from my uncle and i've never looked back! The bottle is a beautiful blend of clear and pink glass, it looks shiny, classy and is a perfect fit to my bright-loving self. It is very feminine, modern and spontaneous - my go-to feel good day fragrance. The scent never fails to cheer me up! I wear it almost daily and i've never had any problems with leakage when keeping it in my overnight bag. If you like floral and fruity fragrances, i'd recommend giving this a try - it's great value to buy too!

Davidoff - Cool Water Woman
buy it here
Heart Notes: Lily of the Valley
Top Notes: Watermelon
Base Notes: Sandalwood

I saw this for years on tv adverts before taking the plunge to try it. The bottle always stood out to me with it's beautiful shape, cone-like base and gentle blue colouring. It's a definite summer fragrance and is perfect for daytime dates! It has a wonderfully 'beachy' feel to it, fresh and adventurous and is the perfect holiday accompaniment. This always goes in my suitcase! The watermelon really comes through and the sweetness of lily just makes it perfect! Who knew a fragrance could hold so many of my favourite things! It also looks beautiful sitting on the bathroom shelf..

Ghost - Deep Night
buy it here
Heart Notes: Apricot, Peach, White Wood
Top Notes: Cereus, Rose
Base Notes: Amber, Vanilla

This fragrance was an 'accidental' find. It was bought for me as a present when I was 15 and the person who bought it thought it fitted me as the bottle was black and I dressed like a 'rock chick'.. hmm.. But anyways, I fell in love! The bottle for starters is immensely cute in shape and the top is a fantastic idea, I just love the simplicity. The fragrance is sweet and sensual, perfect for date night and has a deep tone to it - almost smoky in a way. It is definitely seductive too, my boyfriend loves this fragrance and so that has to make it a winner! If you haven't tried this before, please do! It's just beautiful!

We All Got Left Behind, We Let It All Slip Away

Leather Mix Jeans - MANGO/Asos
White Vest - Matalan
Crop Jumper - Forever21 / sale
Converse - Foot Asylum
Duffle Bag (similar) - New Look / sale

The denim and leather mix jeans from Mango are insanely comfortable! They fit like a complete dream.. The fact they have a denim waist means that you don't get the sticky leather feeling and they hug rather than squeeze your skin. They are by far my favourite jeans brand and I will hopefully be investing in (many) more pairs this Autumn/Winter. I decided to keep the rest of the outfit simple as I wanted the jeans to speak for themselves. A white vest top and cobalt blue crop jumper seemed the perfect mix along with my trusty converse hi-tops for a casual weekend look. I could have added more accessories but just loved how my duffle bag looked and didn't want to ruin the aztec vibe of it!
I'm off to celebrate my soon to be sister-in-laws birthday - Happy Sunday!

Definitely Maybe

Crochet Batwing Sweater - Oasap Free Trial*
'Starbucks' Top - Romwe
Leigh Jeans - Topshop
Patent Bag - Mango
Pumps - New Look

This sweater is my new favourite and I have already worn it 3 times this week! It's the perfect staple for autumn layering and is definitely on-trend. I chose the pastel blue colour as I thought I could dress it up or down as it would look just as good as a cover-up for an evening out. Although the sleeves look quite baggy, they do have 'cuffs' at the ends to stop them from slipping down your arm too far yet they aren't restricting at all. The design does look quite liable to ripping but i've had absolutely no trouble and i'm one of the ridiculously clumsy people! Find the Oasap *Free Trials here.
It was really sunny but there was a slightly strong wind so I thought this would be perfect for layering over a long sleeved top for a pastel contrast and to add some more colour. It's actually quite insulating considering the material, I put it on over a vest top yesterday and it was actually quite warm!
I teamed it with my trusty Mango bag and my New Look pumps as i'm absolutely loving the wine colouring, I actually thought they complimented the sweater very well. I think you might be seeing a little more of this sweater this month.

Afternoon Tea with the family

So today was spent with my lovely family, celebrating the date that would've been my Uncle 61st birthday.
We decided to have our family tradition of Afternoon Tea - complete with scones, conserve and clotted cream! All from M&S
We made homemade sandwiches cut into triangles and mini cakes to complete the lovely treat

We used my grans best tea-cups and saucers and dressed in shirt & tie and tea dresses! It was lovely to get dressed up for a semi low-key occasion and just to sit and chat in the garden.
So this post is dedicated to my family:
Happy Birthday Uncle Kevin! We miss you! xx

Mega Man - The Capcom Legend

I grew up with a NES Console from the age of 3 and Mega Man was my first video game hero. His vibrant colour, his awesome attire and range of bosses is what make him a Capcom legend in his own right. This post is a tribute to my love of the NES - which I still own, purchase games for and play.
The nostalgia is just too amazing to forget.

Mega Man top - Shirtpunch
Leather Jacket - IL2L
Shorts - Criminal Damage
Leggings - Primark

Batiste Dry Shampoo: Blush

Carrying this around in my bag makes it perfect for any hair emergency! Whether my hair is looking a bit dry and greasy or I just want to add a little bit more oomph!
It's The festival saviour too!
Simply spray 30cm from your head on your roots
Rustle up your hair to make sure the product is 'mixed' in (crazy hair time!)
Then just brush your hair as usual
Voila!

I absolutely love Batiste and they also have an array of fragrances that I love to alternate between.
Blush is my favourite right now as it's fresh, floral and slightly sweet smelling as well as being in a cute pink can! It is super simple and perfect for those nights that you end up staying over at a friend's or just wake up late! It's literally a 2-3 minute regime that works every time. If you haven't already, I'd definitely recommend trying it out. I carry this with me almost everywhere in autumn simply because the wind and rain can make your hair look a total mess and it's great to know you can fix it wherever you are!
Mini cans are available too!
The range consists of Dry Shampoo, XXL Volume, Conditioning Mist, Nourish, Plumping Powder and  even a fab collaboration with Pixie Lott.

It's available at Boots and Superdrug for £2.99

Favourite Blue Nail Polishes

Right now I'm absolutely loving blue nail polish and I think it's also perfect for the winter season!
So here are my favourite 6 polishes in various shades and finishes:

^ Bank Holiday Blue Mix & Match ^

1. Ciate' in PP147 Chinchilla
This gorgeous pale blue has tones of grey & lilac and is perfect for an understated colour as an alternative to nude or beige. It's perfect for work and other formal occasions too. I love the blend of tones and it has a lovely glossy finish, with only 2 coats it looks shiny and it also sets quickly - the perfect combination!

2. Avon Nailwear Pro in 101 Splendid Blue
This is actually the only Avon polish that I own but it remains one of my absolute favourites! It's probably the easiest polish to apply out of my entire collection and has the most beautiful glittery finish. What I love is that he polish is not grainy at all, is super easy to apply and it has brilliant staying power of around 3 days with no chips! The tone is what I can only describe as a midnight sky blue with the glitter having a lighter tinge to them sort-of the reminisce that stars might have. It's beautiful and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

3. Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine in GNP 5 Blueberry
My only Barry M Gelly nail polish is this one with the shiniest and most beautifully smooth finish. The bottle is gorgeous too and the colour makes me swoon! I'm unsure of why it is called 'Blueberry' as to me I imagine them to be much darker but ah well. I'd wear this any day of the week but teamed with pastels it has a beautiful contrast!

4. Barry M Nail Paint Confetti in CNP 4 Bubblegum
I remember back before this was released, I read a blog post about the Confetti collection and fell in love with this shade. I love using this with Natural Collection white nail polish as the base as it creates a gorgeous contrast. The 'confetti' creates to me what looks like a little bit of a feathered effect and I think it's perfect for an understated nail with a little bit of flair. I love wearing this in winter  or with a simple denim look.

5. Models Own Fireworks Collection in NP174  Banger
This is my Bonfire Night nail look. This was released last November and the finish of the 'firework' look is stunning! I like using this over a black polish to give the look of a night sky but I find I have to use a few 'coats' to spread it over the nail bright enough but that doesn't bother me. It dries really quickly too - just be sure to use a top coat so the bits don't come loose! It's also perfect for a night out.

6. Nails Inc in Motcomb Street
This dark blue can come out almost black so I tend to use just one coat. It paints on beautifully without streaks and leaves a lovely shine. I don't own many dark polishes but I just couldn't resist the deep blue tones of this one, the lasting power of this polish spans around 2 days but I can deal with that. This is gorgeous worn with either a pale outfit to create a dark contrast of for work it goes equally as well.

Happy Bank Holiday!
