This book is from Young Reader: Series Two which works to combine good stories with easy-reading text. Series Two is for readers that are growing in confidence. The book has lots of pictures and the words are split into short paragraphs of 1-2 lines at a time. This is brilliant for Little Man as he's 6 and learning to read properly at school now and as time goes on he'll be able to read them by himself! - it really encourages him - plus the fact he's a little boy reading about roman soldiers!

BEDM Day 3 - A Day in the Life of Me!

My day usually starts with a quick flick through my emails and a cup of Coffee in my Yoshi-Nintendo mug that Sonic bought me for christmas!

I then use my new Rimmel Gentle make-up remover - reviewed here - before applying my organic & natural moisturiser to keep my skin feeling fresh and natural!

I also try to get an early blog-post in!

I then take my lovely gorgeous Mister Stig for his walk so her can run, play & explore!

I then sit at the computer, checking;

I then usually paint my nails using either a new Nail Polish that i've bought to test it out, or my favourites being: Ciate'!

I'll usually have lunch between 1-2pm, a salad, cheese & crackers or sometimes my favourite; a fish-finger sandwich!

I'm currently reading up on Grazia magazine as i met their Beauty Expert last night at an event and she was so lovely and amazing! I really want to keep in touch!

Then i tend to spend some time with The family; Sonic, Little Man, Princess & Bubba - playing video games/Wii oand watching quiz shows on ChallengeTV!

Then i'll make a cooked dinner from scratch and sometimes even bake cakes - but that's usually left for the weekend!

I'll then settle down to write my evening blog-posts and research with the notes i've written earlier.

Sometimes i'll have time to go through Loquax and enter some competitions too!

But sometimes i get lucky and get invited to events on the night-time so i'l lget myself ready and go and meet people to have fun and start networking!

Rimmel London Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover Review!

This caught my eye as i was looking around Boots the other day, as i got an amazing deal on Rimmel - (spend over £10 and get a FREE mascara!)

I have been meaning to get some proper make-up remover as admittedly, i ahve just mainly been using make-up wipes which should be a big no-no as they totally dry out your skin!

I needed a gentle one like this if possible, as i tend to have sensitive skin and with make-up remover usually having so many harsh chemicals in, i have to be careful.

The back of the bottle states 'Suitable for Sensitive Eyes..' which is one of the reasons i was attracted to it as you can't tend to find many on a budget, it also claimed 'Removes Waterproof Mascara' but i am yet to try this - i will report back once i have!

The bottle is totally see through, with black writing printed straight onto the bottle - i lvoe this as it means it is more eco-friendly (no labels!) and can be easily recycled.

The gentle blue colour they use for the name of the product really stands out too and the bottle looks really professional in my opinion.

One thing i love about the product is the actual lid. The problem i find with a lot of make-up removers is they tend to have a gaping top so when you unscrew the lid, trying to 'pour' the liquid onto a cotton pad is a nightmare!

With this product you simply flip the lid upwards and then drip the liquid easily onto a cotton pad! No almost pouring it all over the floor or totally soaking your hand - i've done both! *Guilty*

It's such a simple change but so effective on my opinion of the product overall!

Last night i went to a Beauty event sponsored by Grazia magazine at the Harvey Nichols store in Birmingham-Mailbox. There i had a make-over done by the absolutely lovely Benefit cosmetics team and had around 9 different products on my face and eyes so i knew this would be the perfect time to test this out!

As you can see from above, i had quite a lot on and i was surprised at how easily it came off! I don't think i even had to go over an area twice! I simply wiped a cotton pad with around 4 drops of make-up remover, gently around my face and over my eye and chin area and it came off with ease!

As you can see - (i have been brave enough to include a picture!!) there is no make-up left on my face at all! I promise this was the only product i used along with cotton pads from Bodycare (which are also amazing!) and my skin feels clean and natural again. It really is perfect for me and an absolutel Bargain!

This product can be bought from Boots for £3.59 - Absolute bargain!

I'd give this product a firm 5/5!

Spring is Here!

I Love Spring!

The baby animals, the sunshine starts coming back, the cute prints & pastels..

I love going on walks and exploring (that's how i found the island pictured above!)

It seems to make me feel fresher and more hopeful about everything too. I'm not sure why but it must be something in the air..

We get Easter which obviously has already passed.. but who can forget all that chocolate??

The nature looks so beautiful: all the leaves and trees have their greenery back, the flowers are emerging and the baby ducklings will be along soon!

The great excuse to finally wear polka-dot dresses and pastel colours has also come back!

TweezerIT Cuve Collection in Amber Review!

I was so excited when these turned up totally out-of-the-blue in the post the other day! I had heard such good things about the TweezerIT brand but they had always been a little out of my price range.

At £25 a pair, i had always been a bit apprehensive at investing in some as it seemed to me quite a lot of money.. but apparently i should've trusted my instinct all along!

Usually when i pluck my eyebrows the tweezers are quite small which makes it a lot more fiddly process! With the TweezerIt's the stainless-steel tip is around 1cm long and they are around 1.5cm apart and 9.3cm long which is a much better size to work with!

I found them really easy to guide and the ends are actually a slanted tip instead of a point, which allows you to brush yours brows too instead of having to use a seperate brush!

They are beautifully bright and eye-catching, also very sparkly! They certainly make the whole eyebrow affair seem more glamourous and fun!

When using regular tweezers i find it ca be quite an uncomfortable experience, whhich makes my brow lines red and puffy, however these somehow make the whole experience so much more comfortable! I had no redness At All and minimal puffiness, also my skin still felt smooth and fresh at the end of my 'session'.

They are an amazing professional product and should be a part of every woman's make-up kit!
