Ultimate Driving Playlist - Money Supermarket

With it being summer and having this gorgeous weather, when you're on the road you just want to put on some good music and sing-along! I'm usually the one that chooses the music for the car as i just can't help singing along when a song i love comes on!

Money Supermarket gave me £20 in order to put together my Ulitmate Playlist and these are my must-have summer tunes!

1. Guns N Roses - Paradise City

This song just puts you in the mood for a good day and has you imaging being in your dream environment! The rock is catchy and everyone knows the chorus!

2. Sweet Home Alabama - Lynard Skynard

This song is an all time classic and reminds me of my early teenage years when one of my friends used to busk at lunchtime in the school playground!

3. Last Summer - Lost Prophets

Another catchy song that simply makes you smile - i just can't help singing along!

4. Uptown Girl - Billy Joel

I remember this song from my childhood when my mom used to have his album on vinyl and play it altleast once a day! It's such a chessy but feel-good tune

5. Let Loose - Crazy For You

This song always makes me smile and i just don't know why. It's just a feel-good love song i guess!

6. Fountain's Of Wayne - Stacey's Mom

Who doesn't love this song? The lyrics seem so wrong but the song is so right!

7. Summertime - Will Smith & Jazzy Jeff

I know this song doesn't seem to fit the mix but sumemr just doesn't seem complete without it!

8. AC/DC - Shoot To Thrill

A great classic rock tune that gets me smiling and ready for the day! Even if i've had an early start this song is guaranteed to cheer me up

9. ZZ Top - Gimme All Your Lovin

Another feel good rock tune, the uplifting beat and feel-good lyrics make this one a winner

10. Queen - Don't Stop Me Now

Every playlist must have atleast one song by this amazing band!

Chiffon Dress - Blogsale - £4

So as the sun kept popping out yesterday and it was still quite warm, i decided against wearing jeans. I hadn't worn this dress before today so thought it was a perfect time as it kept me warmer with the long sleeves.

I've never owned a dress like this before but when i saw it over on the lovely Terri's 1stepclosereveryday blogsale it just caught my eye and i knew i just had to buy it! It's actually really comfy and even though it's layered it doesn't feel heavy on. The colour blocking really made it stand out and the way it pulls you in at the waist is quite flattering. It's perfect to be dressed up or down either with converse/sandals or with heels for going out.

My mega-comfy F&F Tesco sandals have made an appearance once again and they are amazing and were a super bargain! They have the same ones in white too which i'm thinking of investing in as i think they look a little more dressy but i'd definitely recommend you checking them out! Tesco overall do some really nice clothes, shoes & accessories - check out the website!

Ciate paint pots in the Glossip

I received this gorgeous bottle of nail colour in my July Glossybox and am absolutely lving all the coral red nail polishes right now and currently have 3 that are the same sort of colour!

Although this one actually has more of an orangey-undertone and sets in a matte effect which is super-shiny and lasts really well. In my experience i use 2 coats and it dries within around 10 seconds which is perfect for me as i'm always rushing around!

I have a big love for Ciate nail polishes and as i only have around 3 at the minute i would love to add some more to my collection! I might have to do a Nail Polish Wishlist post!

3 Years & Counting.. Lifestyle post

So today, me and Sonic celebrated our 3 year anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We spent the day mostly playing Crash Team Racing on the Playstation and then we ordered in a takeaway pizza. That may seem slightly boring and not very 'celebratory' but to us it was perfect. Oh yeah.. and he bought me a Smurf!

One main thing i've learnt whilst being in a relationship for this long is that those 'lovey dovey' stereotypes really don't exist most of the time and that isn't what creates that romantic atmosphere. Sure, of course it's absolutely lovely to dress up and go out to nice restaurants, buy each other presents, receive flowers and all the stuff you see in the movies.. But i know that by now if the boyfriend did any of that i'd presume that he'd forgetton something or done something wrong! Because to me that isn't what our relationship is about.

Our relationship is about being there for each other when we need to talk, being a shoulder to cry on, having trust when situations can get complex and knowing that we're the one each other wants to come home to at the end of every day. We make compromises and sacrifices, stand up for each other and ensure that the other one is happy, sure we argue but what kind of couple doesn't?

I don't tend to do lifestyle posts very often but this is something i just wanted to note down and i feel it will be nice to look back on in years to come.

I hope that he is my future and all i know is that if it doesn't work out, that i'll have all these lovely memories and these years will have definitely been worthwhile

I've got to start by saying these jeans might just be my favourite pair ever! They're so light and comfy and the pattern just makes you feel good. The wedges are the comfiest shoes i have ever owned and are definitely a statement red and just seem to make any outfit come to life. The bag is one of my favourite buys this year and it's massive inside so can fit Everything in! All in all i loved this outfit and it was perfect for going for a meal as it was just dressy enough to look good but also perfect for the massive downpour of rain we faced on the way back!
