So although I have always eaten reasonably healthily, due to my love of fresh fruit and home-made salads; I'm afraid that my diet slacked a bit in the second half on 2014..
I must admit it was very enjoyable eating yummy cheeseburgers and lots of chocolates and cheeses but I'm ready to try and get myself back on track and want to make more of an effort.
I'm not talking copious amounts of hours in the gym followed by eating a smoothie and not allowing myself to even sniff the scent of a Haribo sweet.. but just bringing in more well-rounded balanced and healthy homemade meals and doing more workouts from home too.
So me and the boyfriend are both on-board with this (which makes it so much easier!) and have decided on some meals we'd like to try, some we already love that can be incorporated and we will also be exercising from home as this makes it a lot 'cheaper' to be more active rather than a costly gym membership!
I will still be having a 'treat day' once a week where we will indulge in a meal we love, creating a good balance as after all, we all need to treat ourselves!
